I had the opportunity to speak to an audience of students and professionals who wanted to learn about the fundamentals of how to design for native applications. Making the choice to design for native requires key understanding of how to create for both Android and iOS. I walked through the fundamental UI/UX differences that give each platform's its quirks and showed examples of when pushing the boundaries for cross-platform design enhances the overall user experience.
